Stale Version and Browser Cache Refresh
Sometimes CaseSolo may show a message that a new version is available. This means the app detected a newer build than the one loaded in your browser.
What to Do
- Save any work in progress.
- Click the reload or refresh option if shown.
- If the message remains, refresh the browser tab.
- If the page still looks old, perform a hard refresh.
Hard Refresh
Use the shortcut for your browser:
- Chrome, Edge, Firefox on Windows:
Ctrl + Shift + R - Chrome, Edge, Firefox on Mac:
Cmd + Shift + R - Safari on Mac:
Cmd + Option + R
Clear Browser Cache
If a hard refresh does not help:
- Open browser settings.
- Find privacy or browsing data.
- Clear cached images and files.
- Do not clear passwords unless you intend to.
- Reopen CaseSolo and sign in again.
When to Contact Support
Contact support if:
- The stale-version message keeps returning after refresh.
- Buttons or menus are missing.
- You see a blank page after login.
- Uploads or downloads fail after refresh.
- A coworker sees a newer screen than you do.
Include your browser, operating system, and the page URL.
