Document Upload Reliability
Portal document uploads are confirmed only after the selected browser file reaches storage. If the storage upload fails, CaseSolo removes the pending document record so requested-document checklists do not show false completion.
The launch-readiness smoke suite has verified the actual browser file picker flow for portal uploads: the selected file bytes are sent to the presigned storage PUT before CaseSolo marks the document complete.
Messaging and Invoice Reliability
Portal messages now use the same canonical communication record store as the firm Communications Hub. A client message appears in the firm portal thread, and a firm reply appears back in the client's portal conversation instead of being split across separate message stores.
Portal invoice payments use the same legal payment link path as staff-created invoice links. The portal verifies the invoice belongs to the authenticated client contact before creating a payment session. Launch signoff still requires a manual browser receipt and Stripe sandbox checkout/webhook proof.
Portal Customization
Admins can configure what's visible in the portal:
- Go to Settings → Client Portal
- Toggle features on/off (messaging, expense tracking, etc.)
- Customize the welcome message
- Upload your firm's logo for branding
